Yellow modern u shaped kitchen design with terrazzo.
This is the Yellow modern u shaped kitchen design with terrazzo, one of the kitchen designs we manufacture in house. Terrazzo scatters stone through the surface, so everyday marks disappear into the pattern instead of sitting on a flat colour. It suits a busy kitchen better than most people expect. It is planned around how the kitchen is actually used, so the sink, hob and fridge stay within a few steps of each other. Treat the photographs as a starting point. Sizes, colours, materials and internal layout are all decided by you.
- Imported boards, hinges and channels
- Soft close hardware as standard
- Free 3D design before manufacturing
- Installed by our own teams
How this kitchen is built.
Chips of stone that hide daily marks
Terrazzo scatters stone through the surface, so everyday marks disappear into the pattern instead of sitting on a flat colour. It suits a busy kitchen better than most people expect.
Sockets where you will want them
Socket and switch positions are agreed against the final layout, so the kettle, the blender and the microwave each have a point without an extension lead crossing a worktop.
No cupboard you cannot reach into
Every corner gets a decision at design stage. Left unplanned, a corner becomes the deepest and least usable cupboard in the kitchen.
The wettest part, specified properly
The cabinet under the sink takes more moisture than anything else in the room, so it is built and sealed for that rather than treated like every other carcass.
One team, drawing to installation
The same company designs it, manufactures it and installs it. There is no contractor blaming a supplier and no supplier blaming a contractor, which is usually where interior projects go wrong.
The parts you never see
Hinges and channels are where budgets are quietly cut, because nobody can photograph them. Ours are imported and soft close as standard, so fronts close the same way in year five as in week one.
Four steps, no surprises.

Questions, answered.
Yes. Nothing in this range is a fixed size. We measure your space first and build the kitchen to those dimensions, so it fits wall to wall instead of leaving a gap.
Yes. The photographs show one combination. The same design can be built in a different colour, finish or material, and we will show you the alternative in a 3D render before manufacturing starts.
Yes. Grains manufactures and installs with its own teams. You are not coordinating between a supplier and a separate carpenter, which is where most delays and finger pointing come from.
